We are excited to announce the upcoming arrival of The National Poster Retrospecticus! This traveling exhibit of screenprinted concert posters is hitting seven cities in the United States, and we are honored to be hosting this show at our very own CO Exhibitions for ONE NIGHT ONLY - THIS SATURDAY NIGHT, April 13th, 2013! Curated by JP Boneyard, the show features over 300 prints from more than 75 of the world's best contemporary poster artists. Expect to see prints from Daniel Danger, Aaron Draplin, Tara Mcpherson, plus the Twin Cites' very own Aesthetic Apparatus and Landland. On top of this, the show will feature a very special installation from Burlesque of North America (us!), so you don't wanna miss this! We'd like to take this opportunity to make sure you know all about Ladies and Gentlemen Magazine, specifically the second issue. Produced and released in 2007, this magazine was created by our friends Erik Westra and Aesthetic Apparatus as a means to explore and share their collective passion for music, art, design, and writing. The magazine is 12 x 12"" and features a screenprinted cover by AA, an interview with our very own Wes Winship, art contributions from Cody Hudson (Struggle Inc) and Dan Grzeca, a vinyl EP with music from Fog, STNNNG, Odd Nosdam, and more, plus the pièce de résistance, a big juicy centerfold of Aaron Horkey's Over The Atlas. March Madness! Here's a t-shirt graphic I created for Nike Sportswear a few years ago which didn't make it through the final approval stages. It's just been chillin on an external hard drive, so I thought I'd share it with all of you.

I'm wrapping up the last few days of a long ass trip around the Southeast corner of the globe. Aside from enjoying the food, nature, history, and lack of snow, I've also been taking tons of photos of signs and other visually-inspiring imagery. Here are some things that caught my eye in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, Cambodia, and Luang Prabang, Laos. I was getting a lot of funny looks snapping a photo of this emblem on the side of a trash can just outside Phnom Penh's Central Market. Totally worth it. Neverending typography, traffic, and other visual mayhem on the streets of PP. Stacks on stacks of colorful, handmade scarves in just about any market you go to.
