Check out this newer than brand new video for Do it To it. I made a mini-mega-mix of the six songs from the EP and did the video to go along with it.
Enjoy!

All of this fraudulence talk is starting to bum me out. Let's talk about something fun. How about... BRLSQOTHEQUE's new vinyl record?!?!? The follow-up to last year's Do it To it EP, Do it To it Vol. 2 is here and hits even heavier with six brand new skull-crushing club cuts from some of our absolute favorites in the world of underground dance music. Everyone involved in this project brought their A GAME and it's a sheer honor for us to get to release this record. SIDE 1 Bird Peterson ""Torture Motherf*cker"" Dave Nada ""JB Baby"" Emynd ""Hold it Down 2009"" SIDE 2 Wizard of Gaz ""Preacher Man"" Tittsworth ""I'm Rich"" Mike the 2600 King ""Hold Up I'm Comin'"" Listen to snippets HERE Vinyl comes packaged in a jacket designed by Mike Davis and screenprinted and hand-assembled by Petey Wheatstraw and the hard-working crew here at Burlesque of North America....

In response to a question by KyleHL, here is a list of the known unauthorized editions floating around. Please keep in mind that it's sort of a buyer-beware situation, but it is often fairly easy to find out if a piece for sale is legitimate or not. Jacob Bannon, ""Jane Doe"" (prints are giclees, supposedly only 6 were sold, not reproduced from our screenprint, counterfeit print is on very thin paper, signed and numbered, apparently numbered 27 or 29) Aaron Horkey, line art from ""Hurricane Relief"" (line art never released so if you are offered this it is a fraud, sold as original art, exactly same size as poster) Shepard Fairey ""Progress"" (original was a screen print, unauthorized duplicates are offset on thin paper, but are signed and numbered) Aaron Horkey ""Catalyst"" show catalog prints (uncut sheets, supposedly signed, but Aaron had never heard of them) Florian Bertmer ""Face In...

So there was a little bit of confusion and some folks thought that maybe Louie and Jerry would be for sale or on display at the Familia thing on Saturday, but those are for the Enjoi show at HVYW8 next weekend in Ell Eh?, Californ-eye-aye. They will not be at the Familia show, but will eventually be on sale here at Burlesque.
But, we did print this sweet little 3-color for the Familia show. Not too bad for a day's work. Bangup printing job by bangyman.

It has come to our attention that a number of our posters have recently been illegally and cheaply reproduced and resold under the guise of being original Burlesque prints or, in one case, original artwork.
If you ever have a question about the authenticity of a Burlesque poster, please feel free to ask us and we'll do our best to help clear up any confusion.

Burlesque's favorite skate shop, Familia, is opening up their new store in Minneapolis this Saturday, featuring a Todd Bratrud Art Show. So why isn't Todd writing this? I don't know. He's busy ""drawing"" or something. We're just wrapping up a pair of prints of deck art for Enjoi Skateboards: Louie and Jerry the Octodeer. Anyway, that Familia thing...Noon to 6 at their new shop, 2833 Hennepin Ave. S. Click the photos for more of these prints in production.

i got axed to do this little project for RedBull a little bit back, the thing was to create 250 pieces of art for RedBull to use as Valentines Day gifts for a bunch of the people they deal with in one way or another. so what i did was make 6 x 6 inch screen prints of the black line art for 8 different hearts with banners that were left empty. i then hand painted each and every one of them and wrote something different in each banner, a bit of an undertaking, but in my eyes it was worth it. i didnt get photos of any of them on their own, but Kelli from RedBull sent me this photo of the group as a whole, figured id share it with alla y'all...
