More On Fraudulence

In response to a question by KyleHL, here is a list of the known unauthorized editions floating around. Please keep in mind that it's sort of a buyer-beware situation, but it is often fairly easy to find out if a piece for sale is legitimate or not.
Jacob Bannon, ""Jane Doe"" (prints are giclees, supposedly only 6 were sold, not reproduced from our screenprint, counterfeit print is on very thin paper, signed and numbered, apparently numbered 27 or 29)
Aaron Horkey, line art from ""Hurricane Relief"" (line art never released so if you are offered this it is a fraud, sold as original art, exactly same size as poster)
Shepard Fairey ""Progress"" (original was a screen print, unauthorized duplicates are offset on thin paper, but are signed and numbered)
Aaron Horkey ""Catalyst"" show catalog prints (uncut sheets, supposedly signed, but Aaron had never heard of them)
Florian Bertmer ""Face In The mirror"" (never released by Florian, edition of 10, added to expressobeans.com art database, but none are known to have been sold)
There is a massive, super-nerdy thread at expressobeans.com called Curious about the fraud in the scene, and a few dozen other unrelated topics. There's another, more concise thread here, but the best summary is this one.
