Will you be in San Francisco this Friday? Stop by Lower Haters store / gallery (597 Haight St). We'll be decking the walls with screenprinted posters new and old and celebrating the new show with an opening party from 7-11pm. I'll be in the building and will be spinning some music for a bit alongside my Bay Area disc jockey brethren King Most, Enki, and Platurn. It's free to get in, so come say what up and pick up some prints! The following night, I'll be DJing at Triple Crown with Trouble & Bass recording artist Jinder. In town all the way from Stockholm, Jinder will be performing live, so don't miss out! Locals Sticky K, Shane King, and the Goldsweat DJs will also be throwing down, so come celebrate 2010 for the bass odyssey that it is! Last time I was in town, I DJed at a Goldsweat event...

Andrew Broder hipped me to this jewel from Kool Keith. I recommend following this up with a glass of that leftover holiday eggnog and some Ultramagnetic video clips.

i was about to tap-in with some of my own ""2009"" stuff, but as it turns out i have H1N1 so my brain is functioning even crummier than usual. sooooooo, this is what you get... i set up a dumb little tumblr page a bit ago to let my family and friends see where i was and what i was up to. its actually the Rated G version of what im up to as my relatives look at it and i doubt they would approve of even a fraction of the stupid shit i do to amuse myself. at any rate, this is my half assed attempt at talking a little about the last few months of MY 2009 filtered through a little swine flu...

stay tuned for much more of the same in 2010.

got an iPhone? if not maybe its time you got one if for no other reason than to lace it with one of these cases...
the good people at Uncommon hit me up to do some art for these things and from what i can tell its a pretty slick opperation. you can pick the art you want ( dosnt have to be MY art, there is a grip of good stuff on their site ), rotate it, scale it, make it fit your case the way YOU want it to. i believe i have 9 graphics on there you can pick from. go have a look around and if you are in the zone, swoop a new case for your iPhone...

What happened this year? I thought about doing some top 5 lists but nobody wants to read those and people always want to question them and get all judgmental. Does anyone who looks at this blog care if I loved Inglorious Basterds or can't think of any good albums that came out this year off the top of my head? Here is a multimedia chronological look back at some of my memories from 2009. First, I traveled to our nation's capital with my good homie Joe (A.K.A. Bitch Ass Darius) to try to look at the inauguration. This is about how close we got: Joe and I returned home and got real serious with our glockenspiel band, New Kids On The Glock: As a gigantic icicle melted outside our building, our office flooded the week before Dre Day! Ain't no punk ass icicle gonna stop us! Survived yet another brutal...

We just gave our online store a HUGE cleanup. It's much more organized and easier to locate certain items. Have a look around - you might find something you've never seen on there before. This little redesign should tide everyone over until...

Designed by David Seager in 1971 for the Mail Advertising Club. I don't know if someone is getting pulled inside the mailbox or pulled out of the mailbox, either way I should probably start mailing more hands.

I found this catalog in my parents' garage while I was home over Thanksgiving. BRIO is a Swedish toy company specializing in painted wooden toys, the kind that you'd envision Santa's elves to stay up late at night making. BRIO created a cohesive universe of cars, trucks, buildings, imitation household appliances, and, most importantly, trains, all swimming in bold colors and formed from solid, clunky shapes.Click image for larger viewClick image for larger viewClick image for larger viewClick image for larger view
