I started out 2013 with a black metal solo hike around Pike Island. I remember it being a balmy 10 degrees John Baizley came to town in February to hang out and knock out some hand painted Magpie ladies I upped the luxury at my spot with this HUGE above ground pool. If you talked to me at all this summer, this is all I could talk about The whole BRLSQ team whisked away to Seattle in August for Bumbershoot Flatstock. I snapped a shot of this rare scene- both bosses at the booth sitting still My sweet halloween costume- Kardashian couch dress. Nobody really got it, but everyone fell in love with my custom BOOM BOOM I love working with new and different artists. David Cook is certainly one of my new faves of 2013. That was a pretty cool year. Here are some of my favorite things that happened, in and outside of Burlesque. Thanks to all of my family, friends, and teammates who helped make 2013 worth writing about on our blog. 12 days into 2013, I competed in the Minneapolis division of the Red Bull Thre3style DJ competition. Most of December was spent holed up in my basement working on new routines, so it was a big relief to finally get on stage and perform. I ended up taking first place which felt pretty fucking good. Couldn't have done it without the support of my friends and family in the crowd plus everyone who gave me advice on my set. At the end of January, my wife Mali and I embarked on a 2 month trip around the Southeastern corner of the globe. It was our belated honeymoon and easily the best...

We were asked to design and screenprint a poster to commemorate the festivities and here she is... one creature face for each year, designed by Mike Davis and screenprinted in super bright colors on French Pop-Tone Hot Fudge paper by Ben LaFond.
