This is the first and only stamp I've ever found from the small Eastern African nation of Djibouti. Sort of a clusterfuck of graphic elements, but I really enjoy how haphazard and jerry-rigged the whole design is. Wild West lettering at the top with Arabic right underneath, the serif 150F, super angular satellite tower, and that gorgeous ultrabright cubic shape. Somehow it works!

Vincent Stall's ""Things You Carry"" show will be running through Friday November 4th at CO Exhibitions. Still plenty of time to come check out Mr. King Mini's fantastic installation of prints, paintings, drawings, and more. If you can only come by once, we recommend you save it for the grand finale closing ceremonies:
On Thursday November 3rd from 6-9pm, CO will be hosting an artist talk with Vincent Stall. He'll be discussing his career, the work in the show, and his new book ""Things You Carry."" The book will be available for purchase at the event and Vincent will be signing copies. Bring your comics, bring your questions, bring your curiosity. This is gonna be a good one!
