After a whirlwind week down in Austin, we're finally back in Minneapolis where I can attempt to process all of the food, art, music, and friends I just experienced. Here are a few photos and videos documenting my time at SXSW:
It's our booth at Flatstock 24!
Hangin' in our booth with Jodi and our Minneapolis rocker turned Austin rocker Lori Barbero.
It's a Miracle! Smokey Robinson signing posters (designed by Shepard Fairey) and greeting fans outside Flatstock.
Vancouver's DJ Hedspin & Calgary's DJ Pump on four turntables, setting things off at Do It To It.
OK now we've got a party goin...
Burlesque's lo-fi light show gave maximum results!
NYC's Cubic Zirconia doing their acid-house afro-disco thang. We heard a lot of folks call this the best performance of the entire weekend.
YES!
MORE!
Getting up inbetween two of Austin's finest...
LA's Dengue Fever puts a modern twist on '60s Cambodian garage rock at Waterloo Records' outdoor stage.
Tiombe Lockhart signing a copy of the Cubic Zirconia poster I designed. This is available in our online store. Grab it now before they blow up!
Flatstock is done, posters are boxed up, van is packed up, let's EAT! The whole Burlesque crew got down at Sam's BBQ. Nobody left hungry.
Nadastrom makes everyone lose their shit at Friends. After the bar cut their sound off without warning at 1:59:59AM, the crowd kept the party alive on stage.
This guy was definitely passed out during the entire Mad Decent afterparty on Saturday night. How do you sleep through that much BASS?
Joe Belk A.K.A. Belki Bartokomous and Wezz demolishing some Rudy's right before we hit the road.
