Your daily dose of acid, via Mystery Palace and Playatta

I've been spending my Sunday evenings contributing to Freaky Deeky, a local cable access and internet phenomenon. It's a chance to work with new mediums, force myself to be creative on the fly, and learn a little about video while I'm at it. I've always loved 60s acid art and wanted to try my hand at colored oil light shows and it's been a great outlet for that. Hal and Matt of Playatta, the wizards behind Freaky Deeky's visual madness invited me to participate on a video shoot for Mystery Palace. I brought the colored oils, Sharpees and watercolors. It was a ton of fun and you can see the results right here.
